"Babylon 5" Bomber Jacket

Description

Bomber jacket created by the production for use in "Babylon 5" (1994-1998) for a member of the 361st Tactical Fighter Squadron a.k.a. "Death's Hands."

Dark brown leather bomber jacket with brown elasticized wool at sleeve cuffs and bottom edge of jacket. Flap pockets with hidden snaps at either side of obverse waist, with extra pockets to either side. . Zipper with leather pull tab at obverse closure with snap closure below it. Circular red embroidered patch at proper right chest with image of the Grim Reaper and text below reading “DEATH’S HANDS” and “361st - TFS - EFC” in a banner below. Below this, another embroidered patch with a multi-color emblem with “EARTH FORCES OFF WORLD” in a banner below it. At the proper left chest, a large diamond-shaped patch with the image of a space craft and text reading “STAR FURY FA-23E / 361st - TFS / UGLY / BUT WELL HUNG”. Large black circular patch on reverse with silver trim and silver embroidered text around the perimeter reading “THE LINE - IN GRATITUDE & MEMORY -” around a central image of a blue planet with clouds. Interior lined in olive-green acetate. Brown leather tag at interior neckline indicates “Golden Bear” brand, size L Tall. Pocket on proper left interior.

Presented by the cast to Planet Hollywood Chicago on February 16, 1995.

Condition

Minor wrinkling and creasing. Minor pin holes throughout. Minor loss of material around pin holes in reverse left shoulder. Minor wear near zipper.
