"Mork & Mindy" Metal Lunchbox and Thermos

Description

Acquired from Christie's South Kensington, merchandising tie-in lunchbox and Thermos featuring "Mork & Mindy" (1974-1983).

Lunchbox: Metal lunchbox with a hinged lid and a yellow plastic handle. The lunchbox has an image on the front of Robin Williams and Pam Dawber in their roles as Mork and Mindy, and reads "Mork & Mindy" across the bottom, with a sticker of a clown that reads "NEW / Flip'n'Sip / TOP / INSIDE" on the proper left. The back of the lunchbox also shows the actors with a robot, and reads "Mork & Mindy" across the top. The sides of the lunchbox are decorated with scenes from the show. The top reads "THERMOS" near the handle. Bottom edge reads ""THERMOS DIVISION / KING-SEELEY THERMOS CO / TM Designates trademark of / Paramount Pictures Corporation / (c) 1979 Paramount Pictures Corporation / All Rights Reserved".

Thermos: Dark yellow plastic thermos with a yellow and white plastic lid. The side reads "MORK & / MINDY / TM Designates trademark of / Paramount Pictures Corporation / (c) 1979 Paramount Pictures Corporation / All Rights Reserved" with an image of the two stars of the show. The lid reads "THERMOS" on the top.

Condition

Lunchbox: Minor rusting along the edges, with some loss of pigment on the bottom edge (particularly at corner).

Thermos: Very good condition. Very minor abrasions on the surface.
