"Our Vines Have Tender Grapes" Martinius Jacobson's (Edward G. Robinson) Jacket

Description

Obtained by the production for use in "Our Vines Have Tender Grapes" (1945) for Edward G. Robinson's character "Martinius Jacobson." Black wool jacket that buttons up in obverse center with three black plastic buttons. Obverse of each side has patch pockets near waist, while proper left side has additional pocket at chest. Interior is unlined. Interior of each side has one welt pocket. Tag on interior of proper right interior pocket reads, “Western Costume Co. / HOLLYWOOD / NO. 29164 / NAME Ed. G. Robinson / CHEST 41½ SLEEVE / WAIST INSEAM”. White stamp on interior shoulder of proper right sleeve reads “WESTERN COSTUME CO. / HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. / 45.”

Small repaired hole on proper left sleeve. Light dirt marks at interior of collar.
