"The Fifth Element" Rudy Rhod's (Chris Tucker) Headset

Description

Ruby Rhod's (Chris Tucker) headset from Luc Besson's The Fifth Element. Interstellar radio presenter Ruby Rhod wore his signature headset throughout the film as he broadcast aboard the Fhloston Paradise space cruise ship.

Plastic and metal headset. Hard plastic crescent-shaped earpiece wraps around the wearer's ear to hold it in place.  Small metal cylinder attached to earpiece that attaches to a clear plastic tube that wraps around the side of the wearer's face.  Black wire can be seen inside the tube.  Another metal cylinder is attached to the end of the tube.  Attached to the cylinder is a light that points toward the wearer's mouth to emulate an illuminated microphone. Attached to the top is a black cord that connects to a black power pack.

Condition

Cracked paint on the resin and staining and yellowing to the earpiece from wear and age.  There is a rubber band around the wire for the power pack. Light scratching throughout.
