"The Josephine Baker Story" Josephine Baker's (Lynn Whitfield) Earrings

Description

Obtained by the production for use in "The Josephine Baker Story" (1991) for Lynn Whitfield's portrayal of "Josephine Baker." Beaded off-white fan-shaped dangle earrings. Were most likely clip-on earrings, but clip-on pieces were broken off. Beading is strung together with wire. Beads are a mixture of larger beads with ribbing throughout, small solid beads, and oblong beads with ribbing.

Obtained from Butterfield & Butterfield auction house.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Condition

Discoloring taking place to some of the beading. Backing to clip-on pieces are missing. Wire has broken at one of the bottom tiers of one of the earrings resulting in loss of beading.
