"An Ideal Husband" Miss Mable Chiltern's (Minnie Driver) Riding Jacket and Skirt

Description

Created by the production for use in "An Ideal Husband" (1999) for Minnie Driver's character "Miss Mabel Chiltern." This is a two-piece ensemble consisting of a riding jacket and matching habit skirt.

Jacket: Black nylon riding jacket with short tail on reverse. Button closure on center of obverse with clear spherical buttons.  Sleeve cuffs fold up and fasten with hook and eye closures.

Skirt: Black nylon riding habit skirt with decorative faux buttons on obverse that actually fasten with hook and eye closures. Reverse side of dress has button closures and a toggle closure at top center.

Jacket: Small snags throughout.

Skirt: Two buttons missing from reverse.
