Description
Obtained by the production for use in the television movie "Norma Jean & Marilyn" (1996) for Mira Sorvino's portrayal of "Marilyn Monroe." High heel open-toed shoes with a clear plastic 1.5-inch platform and 4-inch heel. Shoes have metallic rose-colored vamps and crossed ankle straps, and metallic silver insoles have text that reads, "CAMINA / MADE IN ITALY." Undersides of shoes are embossed in plastic and have text that reads, "MADE IN ITALY / 39 / CAMINA / MODDER."
Obtained directly from David Dukes, who portrayed Arthur Miller in the film, at a presentation at Planet Hollywood Phoenix on May 14, 1996.

Condition
Proper Right Shoe: White discoloration or damage visible on the interior of the plastic platform and at the back of the heel. Two pinholes in the rubber pad on the bottom of the platform. Insole is lifting slightly along the proper right edge.
Proper Left Shoe: Some kind of white discoloration or damage visible on the interior of the plastic platform. Possible crack in interior of plastic at the back of the heel. Accretion on the rubber pad on the bottom of the platform. Insole lifting slightly along the proper left edge.
