Description
Fake bulletproof vest acquired by the production for use in "The Longest Day" (1962) for Henry Fonda's portrayal as "Brig. Gen. Theodore Roosevelt Jr." Beige canvas bulletproof vest with darker beige trim on collar, sides, and bottom. Sides have snap button and hook and eye closures that have been adjusted before acquisition. Interior is lined with tan canvas. Western Costume Co. tag on interior with black stamped text reading “2942-1 / Henry Fonda.”
Obtained from Legends Hall of Fame.

Light stains on side and center of reverse. Small pinholes throughout reverse from previous display methods.
