"Apollo 13" Stevie Levine's NASA Identification Badge

Laminated NASA identification badge created for use in the production of the 1995 space drama "Apollo 13." The badge is believed to have been made for property master Steven M. Levine and is labeled with the name “Stevie Levine.” The piece reflects the style of identification badges used by personnel at NASA’s Manned Spacecraft Center during the Apollo era, contributing to the film’s commitment to historical authenticity.

The badge features a red border with white stripes flanking the area where the badge holder adaptor attaches. A white plastic badge holder adaptor with a metal clip is affixed at the top, allowing the badge to be worn or clipped to clothing. Beneath the adaptor is a black and white photograph area, followed by printed identification text that reads “STEVIE LEVINE / NATIONAL AERONAUTICS / AND / SPACE ADMINISTRATION / MANNED / SPACECRAFT CENTER.”

Two stars appear at the lower corners of the badge, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration seal is visible as a watermark behind the printed text.
