"Jesse James Rides Again" Jesse James' (Clayton Moore) Cloak

Description

Cloak obtained by the production for use in "Jesse James Rides Again" (1947) for Clayton Moore's portrayal of "Jesse James." Item can be seen in the serial's fifth episode: "The Corpse of Jesse James."

Black capelet with hook and eye closure at neckline along with snap closures down front of lapel. Arm hole slits on both sides. Interior tag at collar that reads "Western Costume Co / HOLLYWOOD / NO. 31788/ NAME Clayton More / CHEST /2 SLEEVE / WAIST INSEAM". There is also a faint Western Costume stamp with the number 61 stamped to interior slightly below tag.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Condition

Minor stain on the middle of the interior proper right side. Pinholes throughout from previous display.
