"Tank Girl" Two Miniature Buildings
"Tank Girl" Two Miniature Buildings
Description
Created by the production for use in "Tank Girl" (1995). This is a two (2) piece lot consisting of two miniature buildings,
Building #1: Miniature building on top of a large piece of Styrofoam that is made to emulate a hill. Styrofoam is painted to look like sand, and there is a large amount of "debris" surrounding the building. The building has several straight pillars along the obverse. Mechanical components and pipes on roof of building.
Building #2: Miniature building with paper adhered to all sides. Paper on obverse and reverse has black and white sections to give the appearance of windows. Same paper is used on right and left sides but turned so that the white side is showing rather than the decorated side. Rocks and other ground debris surround building. Mechanical components on top of roof.
Obtained directly from the film's special effects company, 4-Ward Productions, Inc.
Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.
Condition
Building #1: One of the pillars is missing. Surface loss throughout. Several of the mechanical components have broken off, some are missing.
Building #2: Paper is peeling from sides of building. Portions of the rocks and ground are broken off of the sides and missing. One mechanical component is broken off. Small areas of surface loss throughout.
It should be noted that this movie takes place in a future desert wasteland. Much of the damage noted with these buildings are assuming they suffered these damages post-production.
