"The Murdered House (La maison assassinée)" Séraphin Monge's (Patrick Bruel) Hat

Description

Hat obtained by the production for use in the French film "The Murdered House (La maison assassinée)" (1990) for Patrick Bruel's character "Séraphin Monge." Brown cap with snap closure on front of crown and top of bill. Brown leather interior band and cream/off-white colored interior lining. Tag at center of lining reads "TORPEDO" with image of a man. In red lettering under that tag reads "R. Genty / Chapelier / amboise." There is another stamp in black, but it is illegible.

Obtained directly from Patrick Bruel.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Mannequin not included.

Condition

Fading to color on the top of the hat from exposure to light. Discoloring on the interior lining. Cap has a musty smell. Small stain on the top of the cap.
