"Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" (TV Series) Pair of Naval Mine Miniatures

Offered here is a pair of vintage miniature naval mine props from the classic television series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. Each miniature mine is constructed from a rigid polyfoam sphere and expertly hand-painted to simulate underwater sea growth, weathering, and moss accumulation, creating an authentic submerged appearance. The surfaces feature multiple protruding contact-style firing pins extending outward from the body of each mine, adding to their realistic naval design.

These miniatures were originally connected to a main line that held the mines in position and were utilized by enemy forces within the series as the iconic submarines Seaview and Flying Sub navigated through dangerous underwater minefields.

Condition

Mine 1 shows several bent and broken spines. Mine 2 shows several bent and broken spines and retains a small piece of black Velcro on one side from a previous display.
