"Wild Bill" Donnie Lonigan's (James Remar) Prop Pistol

"Wild Bill" Donnie Lonigan's (James Remar) Prop Pistol

Description

Own an authentic piece of Western film history with Donnie Lonigan’s prop pistol from Wild Bill (1995), the biographical Western starring Jeff Bridges as legendary lawman Wild Bill Hickok. This black rubber prop pistol was created for use during production and was designed to resemble an Italian Uberti replica of an 1875 Remington revolver.

The pistol features detailed molded markings, including text on the proper left side of the barrel reading “A UBERTI & C. GARDONE VT ITALY CAT 1543,” the top of the barrel reading “ALLEN F.A. MFG CO - SANTA FE NM,” and the proper right side of the barrel reading “MOD. 1875 ARMY CAL. 44/40 / MADE IN ITALY.” Two small illegible logos are visible on the bottom of the cylinder and front of the trigger guard. The trigger guard also shows remnants of gold paint, adding to its unique, production-used appearance.

Constructed of durable black rubber for safe use during action scenes, this prop showcases the craftsmanship and attention to detail typical of mid-1990s Hollywood Western productions. A striking collectible for fans of Wild Bill, Western film enthusiasts, or prop collectors seeking a distinctive screen-used piece from a movie honoring one of the Old West’s most enduring legends.

Condition

Bubbles in rubber are inherent from when the rubber was molded. Appears to be a significant loss of paint based on the presence of just a small amount of gold paint on the trigger guard.
